Moreover, the Mount Vernon Chamber of Commerce and the Mount Vernon Downtown Association are currently immersed in the 2023 Holiday Shop Local campaign. Running from Nov. 24 through Jan 31, 2024, this initiative offers many marketing opportunities for small businesses. From advertisements in the Skagit Valley Herald to online and social media promotions, consumer incentive programs, and a grand prize drawing, this campaign amplifies the visibility of participating businesses.
