Skagit Valley College:  Skagit Valley College offers two-year degrees in 27 fields, and 30 professional/technical certificate programs, designed to meet the needs of regional employers in advanced manufacturing, agriculture, environmental sciences, nursing, and other high-demand fields.  It also offers many four-year degree options including a bachelor of science in computer science and a bachelor of applied science in advanced manufacturing and design, environmental conservation, healthcare management, and management.

Skagit Valley College has an established track record of developing customized workforce training programs tailored to the specific needs of individual employers.  Skagit Valley College will be eager to meet your company’s needs, as will WorkSource (managed in Skagit County by the Northwest Workforce Council), which provides grants and training reimbursement as well as recruiting assistance.

Northwest Career and Technical Academy is an affiliate of several Northwest Washington school districts. NCTA provides free technical and professional training for high-school-age students. Its robust course catalog offers students the opportunity to participate in experience-based hands-on learning as they earn high school credits, college credits, and industry-specific certifications.
