Created in 1964, the Port of Skagit is the economic development hub for Skagit County. Located in the fertile Skagit Valley in northwest Washington, it is midway between the major cities of Seattle, Washington, and Vancouver, British Columbia.

Three key facilities comprise the Port of Skagit: the Skagit Regional Airport, the Bayview Business Park and the La Conner Marina. Together, these three facilities account for more than 86 businesses and 1,288 workers.
