After eight years as the Director of Finance and Administration at EDASC, Audra Ramerman will take on the role of Chief Financial Officer at the Port of Skagit.

“It has been wonderful partnering with Audra over the last eight years as we improved and modernized processes at EDASC,” noted EDASC CEO John Sternlicht. “Whether the day-to-day activities or the big things such as the office move, the merger of EDASC and the EDASC Foundation, or quickly pivoting to work remotely during the pandemic, Audra brought dedication and problem-solving skills to the table. We all have truly benefited from her service to EDASC and the community at large.”

During Ramerman’s tenure with EDASC, she updated systems and processes across the organization as well as lending her strategic thinking skills to programs and initiatives.

Ramerman started with EDASC in 2017 following progressive leadership roles in private and publicly traded global manufacturing companies for 18 years. At that time, she decided to make a significant change and find ways to use her skills for her local community, which is why she joined EDASC.

In 2023, Ramerman was named a SWAN Woman of the Year. Her colleagues at EDASC nominated her for the award.

“Serving EDASC alongside our dedicated Board of Directors, staff, and community leaders has been one of the most meaningful chapters of my career," Ramerman said. “I’m proud of the cumulative impact we've made together in strengthening Skagit County’s economy and supporting the people who call it home.”

Ramerman’s last day at EDASC is July 18, and she will assume her duties at the Port of Skagit in August.
