Brett Greenwood

Brett Greenwood currently serves as the Executive Director for the Port of Anacortes, where he is responsible for the comprehensive leadership and management of Port related operations, including the Anacortes Airport, Cap Sante Marina, the Marine Terminal and various commercial properties. He is also focused on furthering the Port’s mission of stimulating job creation and commerce, while protecting the quality of life, needs and desires of area residents. 

He began his career in the U.S. Coast Guard before transitioning to school district administration to focus on raising his family. Over the past 20 years, he has honed his leadership skills through roles in the Ferndale and Bellingham school districts. Most recently, Brett served as the Executive Director of Business, Operations, and Technology at the Sedro-Woolley School District. Brett attended Gonzaga University, where he earned his Master’s in Organizational/Business Leadership. He remains active in his community through participation in the local Rotary Club and continues to collaborate with public and business organizations.
