Businesses that sustained losses during December 2025’s historic flooding can apply for disaster relief funds through local business organizations. Each organization is administering its own grant process – be sure to note specific application deadlines. Check out the details below for the communities of Mount Vernon, Burlington/Edison, Sedro-Wooley/Upriver, and relief funds specifically for agricultural producers throughout Skagit County.

Funds are supplied by the Skagit Community Foundation’s Skagit Disaster Relief Fund. Funds are limited and are intended to assist with losses but not fully cover them. SCF is partnering with the following organizations:

Mount Vernon Downtown Association - Grant opportunity open to all flood-affected businesses located in Mount Vernon. Relief funds are available to support businesses in all of Mount Vernon – not just downtown.

APPLY HERE. The application period closes at 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 28, 2026. Applications will be reviewed by a committee during the first week of March.
