Chris Johnston, PharmD, FACHE is the Chief Administrative Officer for PeaceHealth United General Medical Center.  Chris’s career in healthcare is characterized by engaging and increasing community relationships. 

Prior to the integration of PeaceHealth with United General Hospital in April 2014, Chris held two director positions at United General Hospital – Director of Oncology Services and Director of Pharmacy.   Earlier in his career, he held a variety of pharmacy management roles in several health care organizations in Washington State. 

Among other community activities, Chris currently is a member of Sedro-Woolley Rotary and sits on their executive board.  Chris also serves as a board member with the following groups, District #304 Foundation, EDASC, Population Health Trust and Sedro-Woolley Chamber of Commerce. 

Chris earned his bachelor and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from Washington State University. 

Chris and his wife, Tina, have celebrated their 31 years together.  They have 5 children, one adorable labradoodle and reside in Mt. Vernon Washington.  Chris is an active hiker, basketball player, runner and is interested in various community action groups
