Trade Show, Networking

If securing government contracts is on your radar – like this Tiger-Pearson Construction project for Whatcom Community College (pictured) – join Washington APEX Accelerators and EDASC on Wednesday, Feb. 7, for the Meet the Buyers – Skagit and Whatcom Counties open house. This half-day event is an opportunity to connect directly with purchasing teams from government agencies in Skagit and Whatcom counties. Learn about upcoming projects, where to find bid opportunities and how to make sure your business is ready to work with local agencies.

This will be a networking event with participating agency-exhibitors on hand to answer questions and receive information about your products and/or services. Participating agencies are Bellingham Technical College, Cascades Job Corps, City of Bellingham, City of Sedro-Woolley, Skagit County - Facilities Management, Whatcom Community College, and Whatcom Transportation Authority.

Representatives from both Tiger-Pearson Construction and All American Marine will present, sharing both past challenges and best practices for successfully winning and performing on government contracts.

Government contracting specialist and MRSC Consultant Aleanna Kondelis will also be on hand to present how changes to statewide public works policies will affect contractors and agencies in 2024.

Meet the Buyers runs from 9 a.m. to noon at Skagit Station in downtown Mount Vernon. Register here for this no-cost event.
