EDASC held its third annual Investor Appreciation Celebration November 5 at the Museum of Northwest Art (MoNA) in La Conner.  The event, attended by over 125 EDASC investors and guests, was extremely successful, affording the opportunity to make new business acquaintances, discuss various projects and deals, and become acquainted with a museum that is a treasure of Skagit County.  Attendees networked and enjoyed delicious food and drink from La Conner Seafood and Prime Rib House and music from the North Stars Chamber Quartet while perusing the thought-provoking Surge exhibit at MoNA, exploring the intersection of art and science as it involves the consequences of rising waters caused by climate change.

In keeping with the theme of “heavy hors d’oeuvres and light speeches,” guests heard an EDASC update to investors from Board Chair Dr. Tom Keegan and CEO John Sternlicht.  John also introduced Allan Grant, Executive Vice President of LAVLE, Inc., Skagit County’s newest company and EDASC’s newest investor, who spoke briefly about the international joint venture in electric marine vessel technology now making its headquarters in Anacortes.

EDASC thanks the entertainment sponsor, Chmelik, Sitkin & Davis, P.S., and supporting sponsors, TRICO Companies, LLC, and EDCO Inc., for making this wonderful evening possible!
