LA CONNER – EDASC on behalf of the Town of La Conner is now accepting grant applications for up to $5,000 supporting small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. Award amounts may increase or decrease depending on applicant pool.

The grant opportunity is provided by the Town of La Conner through CARES Act funding. EDASC is administering the grant.

The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. October 7th, and a total of $20,000 in funding is available.

To be eligible to apply, you must be a business within La Conner town limits and employ 20 or fewer employees. Priority will be given to businesses which support the Town of La Conner’s tourism industry.

Eligible grant expenses include consulting, marketing, and training, as well as for operational expenses including rent, supplies/inventory, utility bills, etc. Non-fixed assets to accommodate outdoor dining and events will be considered on a case by case basis.

View the application here. Be sure to download the application and open it in Adobe Acrobat to fill it out. DO NOT fill out the application in your web browser.

Submit completed applications or questions to EDASC at LaConnergrant@skagit.org.

EDASC will prioritize applications based on severity of the impact the business is facing, including from being forced to close by government-mandated closures, social distancing measures or illness. Awards will be approved on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on the availability of funds.
