LYMAN – EDASC on behalf of the Town of Lyman is now accepting grant applications for up to $5,000 supporting small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak.

The grant opportunity is provided by the Town of Lyman through CARES Act funding. EDASC is administering the grant.

“The Town of Lyman is proud to offer this grant program to small businesses through funding received from the CARES Act,” Lyman Mayor Eddie Hills said. “We have some businesses that are really struggling, and this grant program can help keep them running.”

The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. July 10, and a total of $10,000 in funding is available.

To be eligible to apply, you must own a brick and mortar business within Lyman town limits and employ 12 or fewer employees. Non-profit organizations and home-based businesses are excluded from eligibility for these grants.

Eligible grant expenses include consulting, marketing, and training, as well as for operational expenses including rent, supplies/inventory, utility bills, etc.
