EDASC today launched ZoomBusiness, a no-cost interactive mapping directory designed to help communities and customers find open restaurants, stores and services in Skagit County amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

EDASC's ZoomBusiness page can be found under the "COVID-19 Updates" tab on its website or by clicking here.

Along with providing community members and customers with updated business information, EDASC's ZoomBusiness page also enables Skagit County businesses to edit their existing business information or to add their business. The tool launches with nearly 1,000 businesses listed, including EDASC Investors and current members of all Skagit County chambers of commerce. Any Skagit County business can list itself on the ZoomBusiness page.

To add your business, click the “Add a Business” button at the top-right of the page. To edit an existing business, find your business on the map and click “View Details” then “Click here to edit this business.” EDASC will confirm your new business or business edits.

Businesses can provide customized details including websites, modified hours, delivery or curbside pickup options, promotions and gift card stimulus programs. Residents can search for area businesses by categories, including grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, health facilities, hardware stores, pet stores and automotive shops, among others.

ZoomBusiness is provided by GIS Planning.

Following the COVID-19 recovery, data experts at GIS Planning forecast continued use of the directory to promote small and medium-sized businesses across North America.
