MOUNT VERNON – EDASC in January announced the launch of its redesigned website, showcasing Skagit County’s economic viability, natural beauty and wonderful communities while providing the tools and business information site selectors need.

The new website layout and design place a greater emphasis on engaging, helpful visuals. For instance, the homepage includes an interactive map displaying Skagit County on county, state and worldwide levels. It also includes a new Skagit County Toolbox, providing a one-stop shop for businesses looking to learn about and move to Skagit County.

These features are critical for site selectors – one of the website’s target audiences – as they research available properties, infrastructure, quality of life, and more.

“It’s important when a new company is researching Skagit County that our website is accessible, easy to navigate, and provides all of the tools and information a site selector expects,” said Aaron Weinberg, EDASC Communications and Community Engagement Specialist. “That was EDASC’s focus when executing this redesign.”

Along with site selectors, the website’s target audience also includes existing Skagit business owners, entrepreneurs and community members.

Other major design updates include a brighter color palette and modern fonts.
