Business Recruitment Program
Through our Business Recruitment Program, we work to identify and attract businesses to invest in Skagit County. By thoroughly analyzing a prospect's special needs and interests, we determine the suitability of that business to locate in Skagit County. (Read More)
Business Retention/Expansion (BRE) Program
The Economic Development Association of Skagit County provides assistance to business located throughout Skagit County at no cost. In an effort to strengthen and improve the rate of success for local businesses, the BRE program works with business owners to find solutions to obstacles that may be preventing their continued growth and survival. Procurement Technical Assistance Center
The Procurement Technical Assistance Program assists companies interested in bidding on Federal, State or Local Government contracts. EDASC provides assistance with government paperwork and registrations, including HUBZone certification, Central Contractors Registration, and GSA schedules. (Read More)
Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
The Economic Development Association of Skagit County offers technical assistance to businesses through our Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and our Business Retention & Expansion (BRE) programs. Working to ensure the survival and growth of existing Skagit County businesses is an important part of EDASC's mission for economic development. (Read More)
Latino Business Retention & Expansion Program
EDASC received funding from the Washington State Department of Community, Trade & Economic Development for a program to do outreach in the Latino business community in Skagit County. The program is a partnership between EDASC, Skagit Valley College and Community Capital Development's Northwest Washington Women's Business Center. (Read More)
Leadership Skagit
The vision of Leadership Skagit is to develop leaders at all levels of our community – to create a dynamic network of leaders whose increased awareness and commitment to service will benefit our entire Skagit community. (Read More)
Entrepreneur Program
In partnership with Employment Security's Self Employment Assistance Program the Entrepreneur Program assists unemployed individuals create their own employment opportunity by launching their own business venture. (Read More)
